Pursuant to the recent announcement on the implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO) made by Senior Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob; the Management urges all occupants and visitors to abide our Building by laws / SOP in line with the Government’s directive and policy.

 Please be informed that you are to adhere to the standard operating procedure (SOP) and guidelines, as listed below:

  1. The building is fully operational. However, the Management Office (MO) at Level M1 is closed to the public. Any queries may be directed via email at helpdesk@qsentralkl,com or call 03 2730 2041 during office hours;
  2. All occupants and visitors are to adhere to the thermal checkpoints at Level LG2, G, M1, 12 and 13. Anyone with body temperature above 37.5°C would be declined entry at the thermal checkpoint itself;
  3. All occupants and visitors are required to scan MySejahtera QR code placed at all entry and thermal checkpoints for contact tracing purposes. Occupants and visitors without MySejahtera application may provide their personal details and body temperature by filling in the thermal checkpoint form placed at all entry and thermal checkpoints;
  4. It is compulsory for all occupants and visitors to wear face masks within the common areas of the building premises, starting from 1st August 2020;
  5. Hand sanitizers are provided at all common areas i.e at the thermal checkpoints such as LG2 information counter Level G, concierge counters Levels 12 and 13;
  6. All occupants and visitors must practice physical distancing at all times in building, especially at the common area. The Management has placed physical distancing markers on the floors in common area such as in the lift cars, at the lift lobbies, concierge counters, kiosks etc;
  7. Individual office units must also carry out their internal thermal screening of their employees and place it for record. As this may be required by the authority during their random spot checks to offices;   
  8. All occupants and visitors are requested not to bring children into the building;
  9. Disinfectant cleaning will be conducted every two (2) hourly at the common property i.e lifts, escalators, turnstiles, floors and toilets;
  10. Disinfectant cleaning must also be carried out by individual offices, retail units and food & beverage operators. All food and beverage / retail employees must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (masks and gloves) at all times;
  11. Food operators are allowed to operate for take away and delivery services only;
  12. At the moment, evacuation procedures and assembly point remain the same (in front of Platinum Sentral). However, all individuals are required to observe reasonable amount of physical distancing at the assembly point;
  13. In view of the current national health condition on the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of all occupants need to be prioritised. We urge all occupants to take the rightful and responsible measures to ensure all their employers, employees and members of their organisation who are returning to work or by any way visiting the building to be free of Covid-19. The said responsibility should also be extended to your visitors by way of qualifying them with relevant questionnaires prior to their visitation and also thermal checking must concurrently take place in all individual units. Therefore, it is the respective owners / tenants’ prerogative to manage and arrange for the above-mentioned concern to be met;
  14. If you are employing foreign cleaners to clean up your individual office unit, please submit the Covid-19 test result, as all foreign workers are required to go for the Covid-19 screening / test. This is in line with Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s announcement on 4th May 2020. If you / your cleaners are unable to provide us with the test result, the Management have the right to deny their entry into the building;
  15. Occupants and visitors are to adhere to the physical distancing markers placed in the lift cars, where only four (4) to five (5) persons can enter the lift car at one time;
  16. All Prayer Rooms (surau) at Levels 11 and 12 will be opened from 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm on weekdays;
  17. Gym, games room, sky garden and meeting rooms will be closed;
  18. Should there is any staffs or visitors suspected with Covid-19 infection, please take note on the following:
    1. Owner / tenant to prompt the Management Office immediately on the matter;
    2. Owner / tenant to carry out the sanitization, as per KKM / MOH standards, in the office unit within 24 hours after the case being reported, failing which the Management shall engage its contractor to carry out the said sanitisation works and the cost incurred shall be back charged to the affected unit accordingly;
    3. Owner / tenant to stop operating from office unit and not allowed to enter the unit until the sanitization is completed;
    4. The person in question is required to undergo the Covid-19 test, with trusted medical practitioner;
    5. The person in question is not allowed to enter the building, until the test result is negative and completed the self-quarantine period;
    6. Owner / tenant to prompt the Management Office of the test result once it is released.
  19. Should there is any staffs or visitors tested positive for Covid-19, please take note on the following:
    1. Owner / tenant to prompt the Management Office immediately on the matter;
    2. Owner / tenant to carry out full sanitization, as per KKM / MOH standards, in the office unit and the common areas including the floor corridors, lift lobbies, lift cars, toilets, pantries, staircases etc, on the respective floor and lift cars, lift lobbies, turnstiles etc at Level 12 and/or 13; within 24 hours after the result is released;
    3. Failing to complete the sanitisation within 24 hours, the Management shall engage its contractor to carry out the said sanitisation works and the cost incurred shall be back charged to the affected unit accordingly;
    4. Owner / tenant to stop operating from office unit and not allowed to enter the unit until the sanitization is completed;
    5. The person in question is not allowed to enter the building, until the test result is negative, seeking proper medical treatment and completed the self-quarantine period;
    6. Any staffs who are close contact to the person in question is to adhere to KKM / MOH’s policy to complete the self-quarantine period;
    7. Owner / tenant to update the Management Office from time to time on the status of the person in question.

(“Any person who violates the directive by implicating those at risk of the Covid-19 outbreak may be sued or prosecuted under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342)”.)

 We will continue to undertake the necessary preventive and precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all occupants and/or visitors. We also would like to urge all occupants and/or visitors to cooperate with us in adhering to routine SOPs by wearing the face masks properly at all times, taking body temperature, practising good hygiene and observe physical distancing. Please also be reminded that it is mandatory for all occupants and/or visitors to register at the dedicated thermal checkpoints via MySejahtera apps upon entering for contact tracing purposes, if need be.
